It is a very pleasant start to the weekend with mostly sunny skies, highs in the mid to upper 70s, and northwesterly breezes gusting up to 25 mph.

This Afternoon: Mostly Sunny, Breezy, Pleasant

Highs: 74-80 | Wind: NW 10-15/G 25

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Cool

Lows: 49-58 | Wind: N 10-15

Sunday: Mostly Sunny & Comfortable

Highs: 75-78 | Wind: N 5/W

With clear skies, dropping dew points, and refreshing northwesterly breezes, we couldn't ask for a more comfortable start to the weekend!  A cold front passed through earlier today, leaving behind both high pressure and dry conditions for today and tomorrow. Look for continued generous  amounts of sunshine with a few clouds mixed in and wind gusts to 25 mph as the mercury rises to the upper 70s later today.  Sunday will be similarly pleasant with calmer winds, a bit more sunshine and highs again in the upper 70s.

Thereafter, a combination of another cold front, low pressure and a southerly flow will bring a threat of showers late on Monday into Tuesday.  Some models are predicting rather substantial rain on Tuesday with one to two inch totals possible.  High pressure and sunny skies should return at midweek and last through the end of summer - which is officially next Saturday, the day of the Autumnal Equinox.  Enjoy the weekend!
