A quiet weather pattern to end the work week.

Tonight: Mostly Clear & Chilly

Lows: Mid 40s to Mid 50s | Wind: N 5 m.p.h.

Thursday: Mostly Sunny & Mild

Highs: Mid 70s | Wind: SE 5-10 m.p.h.

Friday: Partly Cloudy & Warmer

Highs: Around 80° | Wind: SSE 5-10 m.p.h

I think we can confidently say there will be no more rain or thunderstorms for the rest of the summer. Although showers and isolated thundershowers will be possible late in the afternoon or evening on the first day of fall. High pressure has chased away yesterday’s rain and as it continues to build into the region, we will enjoy mainly clear and cool weather. There will be a slight increase in high temperatures tomorrow, Friday and Saturday as the high center passes to our east and we return to a more southerly flow of air.

On Saturday, skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures will warm into the 80s. But by late afternoon or evening an approaching cold will give us a 30% chance of showers. On Sunday and Monday, the next area of high pressure will bring clearing skies and somewhat cooler temperatures.
