Keep the umbrella handy over the next few days, as tropical moisture continues to dampen the area. The remnants of what was Hurricane Isaac brings warm, moist air to the region and it will stay this way through the middle of the work week.
Rain that develops could be locally heavy with the potential for flash flooding. High temperatures will reach the mid 80s in the afternoon with overnight lows in the 70s through Wednesday. Patchy fog may also develop during the overnight and early morning hours, but should lift by 9am each morning.
Highs will climb back into the low 90s by Thursday and Friday, but the heat will be short lived. A cold front will slide through over the weekend and will drop highs back into the low 80s by Saturday and Sunday.
