A weak cold front will provide just enough added lift to produce more showers and thunderstorms than we have seen during the past few days. Not everyone will receive rain today but those that do may have to deal with torrential downpours.While rain chances will dramatically diminish tomorrow and Friday, temperatures will remain well above average. We are forecasting high temperatures to reach the 90 degree mark and perhaps a couple degrees higher in spots.

Now the weekend outlook...it still appears likely a strong area of low pressure will become established over the Great Lakes and then move in our direction.The result will be increasing cloudiness and increasing chances of rain. Much cooler air will follow this system next week.
