High pressure continues to dominate everywhere along and east of the Mississippi River. Expect sunny skies today and comfortable temperatures after the coolest start at Reagan National since May 12. That’s nearly 4 months! Highs today should reach the upper 70s. Tonight will again be clear and cool with lows in the 50s around town and 40s in the outlying suburbs. More of the same weather is expected over the next few days with slightly warmer temperatures in the low 80s. The next chance for rain looks to be on Saturday as an area of low pressure moves into the region.
