Yesterday’s cold front continues to push off the east coast and move out of our area and the clouds are leaving with it. Today, expect mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures only reaching the lower 70s. Tonight will be clear and cool across the region with lows in the 40s in the outlying suburbs to lower 50s inside the Beltway.
Thursday and Friday will be nice to end the work week with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees with just a few clouds overhead. Looking ahead to the weekend, a few thundershowers will be possible late Saturday more than likely after sunset, but otherwise Saturday will be partly sunny and warm with highs in the mid 80s. Sunday may see some lingering showers and will be cooler with highs in the lower 70s.
