A large dome of high pressure off the Atlantic Coast will continue to shield us with pleasant weather. Expect sunshine to start with temperatures quickly rising into the low 80s by afternoon before more clouds arrive ahead of an approaching cold front. That front may bring a few light showers to the region tonight although we are not expecting anything too heavy or problematic. Behind the front, our winds will become northwesterly by Saturday morning, providing a fresh batch of dry and comfortable weather for the weekend. Highs will be near 80 Saturday and only in the mid-to-upper 70s Sunday with a healthy dose of sunshine.
