A frontal boundary remains draped across the region today and another round of showers and storms is expected later this evening. Ahead of these storms, expect partly sunny skies through much of the day with warm temperatures around 80 degrees. Tonight, showers and storms will come to an end late with lows in the 50s to low 60s. Tomorrow will be cooler to start the weekend with highs in the low to mid 70s under partly cloudy skies.
An upper-level disturbance will move back into the area Sunday increasing the cloud cover and bringing back a chance for isolated showers. Looking ahead to next week, Monday looks quiet and mild before the next system brings back more widespread rainfall on Tuesday.
