A cold front will push through the region today bringing with it a chance for showers and storms this afternoon. Temperatures will be warm and conditions still muggy with highs in the upper 80s under partly sunny skies. Tonight, any showers will come to an end and lows will fall into the 60s and lower 70s. Some patchy fog may develop late tonight.
Thursday and Friday will be hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s. There is a chance for a stray storm west of town Thursday and for now Friday appears quiet under partly cloudy skies. The weekend ahead features a stronger low pressure system which will push through the region late Saturday into early Sunday. This will bring the potential for showers and thunderstorms along with cooler temperatures in the mid 80s Saturday to upper 70s Sunday.
