A tropical air mass will continue to lie over the area today and tomorrow as the remnant low of Isaac moves overhead. There is plenty of moisture in the air with the noted high humidity which with local circulations and a little sunshine may aid in the development of afternoon thundershowers. At this point we think storms will be isolated in nature but any that do develop will have the potential of heavy rainfall.
Tonight, a few isolated showers will continue to be possible with lows in the 70s. Wednesday will feature mostly cloudy skies and the continued chance for showers and thunderstorms with highs in the upper 80s. Thursday will continue to be hot and humid with highs around 90 degrees. A stray storm cannot be ruled out Thursday afternoon. Friday will finally be a touch cooler with highs back in the mid to upper 80s under partly cloudy skies.
