Highs: Near 80° | Wind: N 5-10

Showers taper this morning as drier weather moves in with above average highs near 80°. Another batch of showers and storms is possible again later this afternoon/evening as a low pressure develops on the tail end of the front and moves off the Northeast Coast. The front clears for the start of the weekend as daylight hours Saturday should be dry. An upper low rolls into western PA by Sunday and that is when a few showers could sneak into the District – most likely later in the day. Monday will be dry and then moisture from a developing low pressure in the northern Gulf will creep north along the I-95 corridor, bringing a threat of rain back into the region by Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
