Morning showers taper, making way for another day with a mix of clouds and sun – any rain should hold off until late-day again.

Friday: Rain Ends, Partial Clearing, Mild, PM T ’Showers

Highs: Near 80° | Wind: N 5-10

Saturday: Scattered Clouds, Cooler & Comfortable

Highs: Low to Mid 70s | Wind: N 5-10

Sunday: More Clouds than Sun, Chance of PM Showers

Highs: Low 70s | Wind: SE 4-8

Showers taper this morning as drier weather moves in with above average highs near 80°. Another batch of showers and storms is possible again later this afternoon/evening as a low pressure develops on the tail end of the front and moves off the Northeast Coast. The front clears for the start of the weekend as daylight hours Saturday should be dry. An upper low rolls into western PA by Sunday and that is when a few showers could sneak into the District – most likely later in the day. Monday will be dry and then moisture from a developing low pressure in the northern Gulf will creep north along the I-95 corridor, bringing a threat of rain back into the region by Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
