High pressure will settle overhead today making for mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Overnight, cool temperatures will again be the story with lows in the 50s around town to upper 40s in the outlying suburbs. Heading into the end of the work week, partly cloudy skies and slightly warmer temperatures will be back into the area with highs around 80 degrees.
The start of the weekend will feature a cold front which will push through the region late Saturday. Ahead of the front expect partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 80s. Rain will become possible by sunset and will continue to be possible Saturday night. Sunday will be cooler behind this system with highs back in the lower 70s.
