On this day after Labor Day, it's back to work, back to school and back to the hot and humid weather. And once again today, showers and thunderstorms will likely develop in this unstable air mass.

Through this evening and continuing tonight, more heavy downpours are possible and wherever the rain falls, localized flooding is a possibility. We are still waiting for the remnant circulation of Issac to pass through the region. Until that happens, more showers and thunderstorms will pop up tomorrow and even an isolated thunderstorm is possible on Thursday when temperatures reach 90 degrees. Friday is the only day this week without the mention of rain.
