Showers and a few thunderstorms will dot radar for the remainder of the afternoon. With thick cloud cover, highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Tropical downpours are likely for the next few days as remnants of what was once Hurricane Isaac move toward the mid-Atlantic.
Localized flash flooding will be possible under some of the slower moving cells. Improving conditions are expected late Wednesday and more sunshine has been added to the forecast Thursday.
