A strong cold front will move into D.C. Saturday making for some big changes.

Tonight: Mostly Clear and Mild

Lows: 60s to Low 70s | Wind: S 4-8 m.p.h.

Saturday: Morning Sun, PM Storms, Possibly Severe

Highs: Mid to Upper 80s | Precipitation: 80%

Sunday: Mostly Sunny, Cooler and Less Humid

Highs: Upper 70s | Wind: NW 10 m.p.h.

As high pressure moves off the East Coast, southerly winds will keep warm and muggy conditions in place through the evening and overnight. There will also be a few pop up showers…mainly west of Washington…through the evening. Tomorrow will be partly sunny and breezy with highs reaching the upper 80s.

From mid- afternoon tomorrow through sunset, there is a high probability of widespread showers and thunderstorms as a strong cold front approaches the area. There is a slight risk of severe weather. Behind the front, high pressure will start moving in. The result will be a string of beautiful September days with lots of sunshine and highs in the 70s on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
