D.C. Area Weather Forecast: A Cold Night but balmy by Sunday

A FREEZE WARNING is in effect from midnight until 9 am Saturday for all areas north and west of Washington EXCEPT Fairfax and Arlington Counties.

A FROST ADVISORY is in effect during the same time period for The District, Arlington, Fairfax, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties.

Overnight: Clear and Cold, Diminishing Winds

Lows: 28-34 | Wind: NW 10-15 diminishing

Saturday: Sunny, Cold Start, Delightful Afternoon

Highs: 60-65 | Wind: Light

Sunday: Mostly Sunny and Warmer

Highs: 70-75 | Wind: S-SW 5-10

Cold air is sure over us now.Look at the current temperatures  Check out all the areas below or in my blog. Tomorrow high pressure over us and plenty of sunshine and by Sunday, as southwest winds come back, warmer air will be with us right on into Monday.  Some great foliage around.  Look at Skyline Drive near sunset today.
