Chilly tonight and Sandy's influence slowly moving off

Overnight: Cloudy and Chilly

Lows: 35-41 | Wind: W 5-10 mph

Thursday: Mostly Cloudy, A few Sunny Breaks, Still a bit Chilly

Highs: 53-58 by afternoon | Wind: W 5-10 mph

Friday: Partly Cloudy and Cool

Highs: Near 55 | Wind: W 10-15 mph

What was once Hurricane Sandy continues to slowly drift north, now in southern Canada.  


The circulation around this huge whirl in the atmosphere continues and will keep us chilly, but gradually more and more sunshine in the days ahead. 

Left behind stillHere is latest Potomace river water level in Alexandria.  The crest of the Potomac  with the high tide will be about noon tomorrow.
