Sandy has now become a large whirl of moisture from New England to the Great Lakes.
The center is near Pittsburg and it will gradually drift north. Look at the rain over the east all produced by Sandy. The red areas and pink around DC are where 5-10 inches of rain has fallen.
Slowly dry air will come back and the flood waters will subside. The crest of the Potomac will arrive in the Georgetown-Washington area late Wednesday into Thursday with some minor to moderate flooding.
Good, but chilly Trick or Treat weather and sunny for the weekend as the clean up from Sandy continues.
