High pressure and dry air combine for the spectacular day today. We'll have even warmer days ahead as winds turn into the southwest. Lots of blogs and talk about the new tropical storm Sandy and a possible impact on the East Coast late in the weekend or early next week. It has to follow a track where it would get hooked up with a weather front and upper level jet stream many days away. Right now the chances of all that happening for something that might become a repeat of a 'Perfect Storm" are very low, I think.
