Tonight: Clear & Very Cold!

Lows: Upper 20s to upper 30s | Wind: Light

Saturday: Mostly Sunny; Comfortably Cool

Highs: Lower 60s | Wind: S 5-10 m.p.h.

Sunday: Partly to Mostly Sunny; Breezy & Warmer

Highs: Lower 70s | Wind: S 5-15 m.p.h.

Thanks to building high pressure over the Great Lakes, the coldest air of the season will be moving into the region. As winds diminish tonight, temperatures will drop and early tomorrow morning will be at or below freezing in the WARNING area and close to freezing in the ADVISORY area. Skies will be sunny tomorrow with lighter winds and highs in the lower 60s. On Sunday, as the high shifts off shore, southerly winds will increase and deliver much warmer air into the area. Highs will climb into the lower 70s. Skies will remain partly to mostly sunny….random thought…tonight we will have football weather for the Nationals game and on Sunday have baseball weather for the Redskins game…. On Monday, the warm air will remain in place until a cold front arrives with scattered showers and cooler temperatures.
