D.C. Weather Forecast: Dense Fog Advisory

Dense Fog Advisory expanded to include all of the metropolitan area until 10 a.m. this morning.

Today:  Fog lifting then mostly cloudy and unseasonably warm

Highs: 82°-86° | Wind: S 5-10 mph

Overnight: Partly Cloudy, Mild

Lows: 65°-71° | Wind: SW 4-8 mph

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy and warm but less humid

Highs: 79°-84° | Wind: WNW 6-12 mph

Once the fog lifts, skies will remain rather cloudy. Some sunshine will break through this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the 80s especially in areas where the sun shines. Tomorrow and Friday will feature more sunshine than clouds and it will still be very warm but it will be less humid.

It will start to turn a bit cooler on Saturday as the next cold front approaches the region. Skies will be partly sunny but afternoon showers are possible as the front crosses the area. Autumn weather will return on Sunday with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures only climbing into the lower to middle 60s.
