A frontal boundary will slide north of D.C. today bringing with it added clouds to the area and a few showers north of the Metro. Highs will be warmer than yesterday in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with lows in the 50s to near 60 degrees. Wednesday will be another warm day with high temperatures around 80 degrees.
As the area of high pressure moves northeast of the region Thursday, an easterly flow will set up around D.C. which will bring back cooler air along with more clouds for the end of the work week. Highs should reach the lower 70s both Thursday and Friday and there should be a fair amount of clouds each day with some partial clearing each afternoon.
