D.C. weather forecast: unseasonably cool weather will continue
Tonight: Clearing & Cold
Lows: 34-43 | Wind: N 3-8 mph
Monday: Mostly Cloudy, Spotty PM Rain, Cool
Highs: 52-56 | Wind: Light & Variable
Tuesday: Partly Cloudy, Warmer but Still Cool
Highs: Near 60 | Wind: N 2-6 mph
Our cool weather will continue into the work week, and despite some warming, temperatures will generally remain below average. Get ready for the coldest morning yet on Columbus Day with widespread lows in the 30s in the suburbs and mid 40s downtown.
Energy will slide overhead on Monday causing another gray day and a few spotty light showers in the afternoon and evening. Highs should only climb into the mid 50s, which is about fifteen degrees below average for this time of year. Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s by Wednesday, but that should be the warmest of the work week.
