After a very chilly start, sunny skies and temperatures rising to the low 60s will make for a pleasant, if rather cool, Saturday.  Sunday will be warmer with highs in the low 70s.

This Afternoon: Sunny & Cool

Highs: 60-64 | Wind: Light South

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Milder

Lows: 45-50 | Wind: S 5-10 mph

Sunday: Mostly Sunny & Warmer

Highs: 71-76 | Wind: S 5-10/G 25 mph

It felt particularly chilly this Saturday morning as the Washington area dealt with both unseasonably cold air and the end of the baseball season.  But warm Nats memories and plenty of sunshine are taking off the edge as highs reach into the low 60s.  The current dome of high pressure will begin to retreat later today as a cold front approaches from the upper Midwest and a southerly flow heads our way.  After a much milder night of partly cloudy skies and lows only near 50, Sunday will be noticeably warmer with highs in the low 70s.  It will be a breezy day as well with wind gusts to 25 mph.

Look for the cold front to bring cloudy skies and a chance of showers on Monday before high pressure, sunshine and yet more cool air return for the middle of the week.  NOTE: Unlike most suburban locations, the low temperature at Reagan National failed to fall below 40 this morning.  The last time DCA was in the 30s was way back on March 27th when the mercury fell to 34.  Enjoy your Saturday.
