This terrific timelapse looking toward Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge captures some of the fury and the impact of Sandy on New York City. The video starts late Sunday through early Tuesday. Watch close to see the surge coming up the East River and then about 1 minute in the lights of lower Manhattan go out as the surge inundates power stations, subways and tunnels.
