A nasty ocean storm, a "Nor'easter" is slowly moving well east of the New Jersey coast. Here in the DC area we are on the western fringe of the storm and as moisture rotates in from the east, we will see some cold showers and wet snowflakes mixed in. Here is our hyperlocal futurecast for the next 36 hours. Watch how the clouds leave as the storm moves east.
By Friday milder air comes in and then with southwest winds over the weekend, for the first time in almost 2 weeks our temperatures will be above average. The storm will dump 6-12" of wet snow in the hills of western Connecticut so local snow lovers you just have to wait until next time
