All things considered...the weather today will ideal for traveling locally and nationally. The only region where there could be weather-related delays is in the Pacific Northwest and areas of coastal Northern California. In our area, it will be a sunny day with highs reaching the upper 50s. Traffic experts suggest leaving as early today as possible. Speaking from decades of personal experiences here, I can tell you this evening's rush hour will be frustratingly slow in many areas. But the weather will be nice.

Thanksgiving Day weather looks great. We are forecasting sunshine with highs near 60 degrees. On Friday, temperatures may reach the lower 60s under partly cloudy skies. A cold front will cross the area Friday night with more clouds and gusty winds. Over the weekend, it is going to be much colder with highs only in the middle 40s. Skies will be partly cloudy on Saturday with a few flurries possible. Sunday will be chilly but skies will be mostly sunny. Happy Thanksgiving!
