Chilly days, but good travel next week.

Overnight: Mostly Cloudy and Cold again; Few Showers over Southern Maryland

Lows: 33-38 | Wind: Light

Friday: Becoming Sunny, Still Chilly

Highs: 49-54 | Wind: N 5-10

This Weekend: Partly-Mostly Sunny, Chilly

Highs: Near 55 Sat. and Sun. | Wind: NE 5-10

A weak storm off the Carolina coast kept high clouds over us today and with the chilly north winds it sure felt more like December or January than November.  Right now our November average temperature is more than 4° below average.  The general pattern across the country is quiet with no big waves in the jet stream to indicate big storms ahead. Look at the possible rain over the east in the next few days.  Not much around DC.

ZZZZZMore More and more it looks like any storm that might form along an old cold front over the ocean will stay well to the east and not be a threat here or in New York (still about 100,000 without power) or New England.  The travel weather across the county next Wednesday looks fine.

And right now Thanksgiving around the DC area . . ."Sunny and in the high 50s".
