High pressure will build across the mid-Atlantic overnight as gusty winds subside. Skies will clear and temperatures will drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s around D.C. and the upper teens to lower 20s in the mountains. Sunday brings plenty of sun and highs in the middle to upper 40s.
Clouds will increase late Monday ahead of a fast moving and developing area of low pressure. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Tuesday with a good chance for periods of rain. Clearing conditions are expected Wednesday.
