High pressure will bring mainly clear skies and cold temperatures overnight. Lows will settle in the middle 20s to lower 30s in the District. Clouds will start to increase late Monday ahead of the next weather maker.
Periods of rain will develop Monday night but should be over with by Tuesday afternoon. Light snow may mix with the rain north and west of D.C. Highs Monday will be around 50 degrees with slightly cooler temperatures Tuesday.
