After a week of a cloudy and cool weather pattern, we are finally about to see a change to more sunshine and milder conditions. High pressure over Maine is ushering in a northerly breeze and the coolish weather. In the meantime, a disturbance from the west is bringing the clouds today. Today will be a near carbon copy of yesterday's weather with some peeks of sunshine this afternoon and highs in the middle 50s. Beginning tomorrow we kick off the improving trend. Mostly sunny conditions are expected for Wednesday and Thursday. The travel forecast nationwide looks very good, with the exception of the Pacific Northwest. The area has been hit very hard with flooding rains and wind gusts more than 100mph! Here is a look at the forecast across the country on Wednesday:
