High pressure will influence the mid-Atlantic this weekend, bringing abundant sunshine and above average temperatures.

Today: Partly to Mostly Sunny

Highs: 60°-65° | Wind: South 5-10 mph

Overnight: Mainly Clear and Cool

Lows: 38°-45° | Wind: South 3-8 mph

Veterans Day Sunday: Mostly Sunny

Highs: 65°-70° | Wind: South 5-10 mph

Keep the sunglasses handy today. Highs will approach the lower to middle 60s under partly to mostly sunny skies. A few clouds remain overnight with temperatures falling into the upper 30s to middle 40s. Sunday brings more sun and highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Clouds start to increase a bit on Monday, but highs will still be in the 60s.

A cold front will approach on Tuesday bringing periods of rain and cooler temperatures.
