Feeling like December needed rain in the future

Overnight: Clear and Colder Diminishing winds

Lows: 25-31 | Wind: NW 5-10 by morning

Thursday: Mostly Sunny but Chilly

Highs: 41-47 | Wind: Light

Friday: Cloudy, Chance Light Showers

Highs: Near 50 | Rain: 30% Chance Afternoon

No more 70s in sight.  The cold front that brought the return of December chill and the sparkling blue skies this afternoon really shows beautifully in this great afternoon satellite picture from the AQUA-MODIS satellite.

Great view from about 400 miles above us.  Cold air in for tonight and it will be a chilly but sunny Thursday morning.

By Friday, moisture comes back and enough to bring a few showers into us.  A change in the general pattern will likely lead to a big midwest storm late in the weekend and the first chance for some needed general rain for our area by late Monday into Tuesday.
