A foggy morning, but dense fog advisories have been lifted. Visibility was down to less than a quarter of a mile in outlying areas like Winchester, VA and Gaithersburg, MD. As of 11 a.m. visibility is still only 1/3rd of a mile at Washington Dulles and about 3 miles in The District. Here is a snapshot of our roofcam and the fog at 11a.m.

The afternoon will be cloudy with the best chance of showers between 5pm. and midnight. Some light rain and mist will linger into Tuesday morning. The cold front will pass Tuesday morning with clearing skies and it will be a blustery afternoon. Winds gusts are expected to reach 25mph or better. Still a little breezy on Wednesday also with Partly Cloudy skies. Next chance of rain will be on Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will stay mild the first half of the week with highs in the mid 50s.
