DENSE FOG ADVISORY in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday for the entire D.C. metropolitan area.
Low pressure will move northeastward through the Ohio Valley tonight and a cold front will cross our area tomorrow morning. This will result in cloudy, damp and cool weather overnight with showers and areas of dense fog. High pressure will quickly build into the area tomorrow after the cold front passes. Skies will turn partly sunny as breezy conditions bring gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Sunshine will be widespread on Wednesday. Changes are on the way Thursday as clouds roll back in ahead of the next cold front. Rain will likely develop Thursday afternoon. On Friday, it will turn partly cloudy, windy and colder. A few flurries will be possible and with highs only in the lower 40s, wind chills could be in the lower to middle 30s.
