High pressure will continue to strengthen across the area. Crystal clear skies will continue tonight. Tomorrow will be sunny from start to finish and temperatures will climb a few degrees above average in the afternoon to the lower 50s. On Saturday skies will be mostly sunny until there is an increase in cloudiness later in the day. Temperatures will remain mild.
On Sunday, a warm front will pass through the region but may become stationary during the day just north of Washington. This will produce a chance of light rain during the day. An area of low pressure may develop and impact the area on Monday and Tuesday. While this system will keep temperatures rather mild, it will continue a chance of rain,, at times, straight through Tuesday. Somewhat colder air may arrive by the end of next week.
