A major winter storm is now moving our of the Rockies and is spreading snow and rain across the Midwest Look at the areas in red now under a Blizzard Warning.
The storm will pass well to our north so while no snow for DC, the trailing cold front will bring some needed rain to us late Some areas 1/2" to perhaps 1" rain. Thursday and Thursday night. By Friday cold air sweeps in and stays with us into the Christmas weekend. Meanwhile traveling to the Midwest the next couple of days be prepared for major delays and travel disruptions.
