Once the sun makes an appearance, tempertures will accelerate their climb back to the 70 degree mark. Yesterday's high of 71 at DCA was a record. We should be in that same range today but will fall several degrees shy of the record. A cold front will approach late tonight accompanied by a few areas of rain. Some rain could linger into tomorrow morning. Clearing skies with gusty breezes will develop tomorrow afternoon. Temperature will be mostly in the 50s tomorrow. Mostly sunny and chilly weather is forecast for Thursday and Friday. Another warming trend will begin this weekend.
