The huge midwest storm is now mving into northern Indiana. Look at the late view of the expanse of rain and snow. The bright red areas are still in a blizzard warning.
Already over a foot of snow and a blizzard in Wisconsin. We are well on the East side so the rain will continue for a few more hours and then rapid drying before dawn. BUT very strong winds follow the rain and we are under a high wind watch just west of DC and a blizzard warning for the high ridges in western Maryland and West Virginia.
Sunshine for part of Saturday and right now there is a chance of some snow flurries on Christmas Eve, as another weak wave and the cold air comes over us late in the weekend.
