A surge of moisture is in place from the eastern Gulf of Mexico northeastward to the mid-Atlantic coastline. This has pushed a high level overcast across our area. The result will be "filtered" sunshine. It will be cloudy but the cloud cover will be thin enough to allow the sun to shine through...just not as intensely as under clear skies. Speaking of clear skies...that is our forecast for tomorrow and Friday.

For the weekend, we are forecasting partly cloudy skies on Saturday with highs in the lower 50s and mostly cloudy skies on Sunday with a 30% chance of rain developing.
