Did you see any meteors last night? Ideal sky watching conditions are expected again tonight. Ernie Barreto of Centreville caught this image of one of the hundreds of Geminids observed.
With high pressure entrenched across the region, it will be another day of total sunshine. The clear skies will continue tonight affording ideal viewing condtions of the Geminids. Some cloudiness may return during the late overnight. If you miss seeing them...they will be back next year.
The weekend will feature pleasant outdoor weather conditions tomorrow with partly cloudy skies in the morning followed by increasing cloudiness during the afternoon. On Sunday, a warm front will advance towards the area producing cloudy skies and a chance for showers. Sunday night and Monday will remain cloudy and mild with a continuing chance for showers as an area of low pressure moves by. Additional weather disturbances may produce additional chances for showers through Tuesday.
