After a dreary early morning, skies are clearing and it will be a blustery afternoon.
This Afternoon: Partly Sunny Skies
Highs: Upper 50s | Wind: NW 10-20
Tonight: Mostly Clear
Lows: Upper 20s-Low 30s | Wind: W 5-10

A cold front will be to our east this afternoon and winds will pick up behind it. After a gloomy early morning, the sun is coming out this afternoon. Despite the passage, temperatures aren't much cooler behind the front and highs tomorrow will be in the mid 50s with plenty of sunshine. The real changes begin on Thursday. There is a major winter storm in the West today that will move through the Colorado Rockies, into the Midwest tomorrow and arrive on our doorstep Thursday. It will be a rainmaker for D.C. Thursday afternoon with much cooler temperatures to end the week in the low to mid 40s.
