D.C. weather forecast: Unsettled weather on the way

Clouds will increase overnight bringing a slight chance for a few showers. Unsettled weather follows until Tuesday.

Overnight: Mostly Cloudy, Showers

Lows: 36°-43° | Wind: Southeast 5-10 mph

Sunday: Cloudy, Light Rain Likely

Highs: 50°-55° | Wind: South 3-8 mph

Monday: Cloudy, Periods of Afternoon Rain

Highs: 57°-62° | Wind: South 5-10 mph

High pressure will slowly move away from the mid-Atlantic overnight allowing for clouds to increase and temperatures to drop into the 30s and 40s. Shower will dot radar, but should not amount to much. Light rain will develop Sunday as highs rebound to the 50s.

An area of lower pressure and associated warm front will bring periods of rain and mild temperatures Monday followed by clearing and cooler air by Tuesday.
