Flood Watches and Flood Warnings up for most of the area:
The cold front that caused the rain to fall overnight has now pushed offshore, but the winds have kicked up behind it.
15 to 25 mph winds from the west are being reported around the region with gusts of up to 40 – 50 mph! This is bringing our wind chill down into the 30s although our ambient temperature is in the 40s.
Winds will stick around tonight while lows fall into the upper 20s. As night falls, a little piece of energy will float through and could bring some snow showers overnight, which could equate to a small coating on the ground through Friday morning.
It will still be breezy Friday but not quite as gusty. Wind chills will feel like they are in the 20s. Highs may only make it into the mid 30s for Friday. On Saturday, clouds roll in through the afternoon but the winds will be calm.
Another little piece of energy could bring light snow showers Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday we clear out, temperatures back in the 40s. Temps will remain in the 40s at least end of next work week. We're also watching another potential snow maker Monday night into Tuesday.
