Text size Decrease Increase

Some of the chilliest weather that we have seen in years moving into the region.

This Afternoon: Increasing clouds & winds

Temperatures: Around 40 | Wind: Increasing, SW 15 - 20 mph

This Evening: Windy, brisk

Temperatures: 30s | Wind Chill: Lower - Mid 20s

Tuesday: Blustery

Highs: Upper 20s | Wind Chill: Lower teens, single digits

Clouds continue to thicken up through the afternoon. Highs make it into the lower to mid 40s today but as the winds increase, it will feel like it is in the mid 30s in the afternoon, mid 20s tonight. Winds will be picking up out of the southwest at 15 – 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. The winds will stick with us through tonight as well. We could see a light snow shower or some flurries floating out of the northwest and into the area, but no accumulation expected. Lows fall to around 20 degrees overnight tonight. All sunshine for Tuesday as high pressure builds into the region; however, highs will not get out of the upper 20s! Once again the winds will be a factor-wind chill on Tuesday will feel like it is around 10 degrees! Winds finally start to die off by Wednesday. Sunshine continues for Wednesday before clouds begin to move in Thursday. Watching a system for the end of the work week that could bring a wintry mix/snow to the area….too early to tell precip type at this point.
