Another mild day, but a cold front will trigger storms tonight.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy, Breezy and Mild

Highs: Near 70 | Wind: S 10-20+

Tonight: Showers and Thunderstorms

Lows: Low-Mid 40s | Rain: 90%, some severe

Thursday: Partly Cloudy and Windy

Highs: Mid 40s | Wind: W 10-20+

Enjoy the last mild day of January.  Today's high should near 70 degrees despite some cloud cover.  However, big changes in the next 12 to 18 hours as a cold front approaches from the west and triggers a few showers late today with thunderstorms that could produce wind damage and flash flooding late tonight.  The worst of the weather will occur between 9p and 2a.m  While this is a quick moving cold front, it will bring as much as 1-2" of rain in a short period of time and isolated thunderstorms will be capable of 60mph wind gusts or better.  <dl class="story-art left width606">

It will be all over by tomorrow and skies will clear out.  It will be windy on Thursday though with gusts approaching 25-35mph.  The rest of the week will be colder, and we even have a chance of snow showers Thursday night-Friday morning, and then again on Saturday night-Sunday morning.  Neither will amount to much.
