Another cold night tonight, but milder temperatures are on the horizon

Tonight: Clear & Cold

Lows: Low 20s to around 30 degrees | Wind: W 5 mph

Friday: Sunny & Seasonable

Highs: Low 40s | Wind: W 5-15 mph

Saturday: Mostly Sunny & Pleasant

Highs: Low 40s | Wind: NW 5-10 mph

After a cloudy morning, skies cleared during the day as high pressure built into the area. Under clear skies tonight, temperatures will drop close to 20 degrees in outlying areas and to the upper 20s in the city. As pressure builds overhead tomorrow, gusty winds are forecast with afternoon highs around the 40 degrees mark. More sunshine along with seasonable temperatures are forecast for Saturday. In our Sunday forecast, we are calling for partly to mostly cloudy skies as a minor weather disturbance passes by. Right now, it appears the system will not produce any precipitation in the Greater Washington Area. More sunshine along with milder temperatures are in store for Monday and Tuesday.
