D.C. Weather Forecast: Warm weather is here to stay--At least through Wednesday
This Afternoon: Beautiful and Warm
Temperatures: 60s -70s | Wind: Light
Overnight: Increasing clouds, spotty fog/drizzle
Lows: Around 50 | Wind: SE 5 - 10
Wednesday: Overcast but warm
Highs: 60s - 70s | Precipitation: Afternoon T-Storms
Temperatures all over the place today for daytime highs based on the position of a warm front that stretches across the Mid-Atlantic. Expect highs around 70 for the DC area, lower 60s around the Baltimore area, around the mid 50s northeast of Baltimore and lower 70s around Fredericksburg-south and through Central Virginia. Mostly sun today but clouds roll in later through the day and bring a chance of drizzle across the region. Fog will also settle into the area as well. Tomorrow, expect another warm day. Highs in the 60s for everybody. Clouds hang tight through the day as a strong cold front approaches the area. The frontal system will cross the region in the evening bring a threat of thunderstorms with it (some thunderstorms could be strong). Once that frontal system pulls through, it will allow for Canadian high pressure to drop in, dropping our temperatures from the 50s/60s to the 40s/30s for daytime highs. Expect highs on Thursday to drop to the 40s with some wind and sunshine, 30s for Friday and Saturday (with a chance of flurries) and 40s to finish out the weekend.
