The big Midwest storm had essentially no impact here. The total precipitation so far has been only 0.04". Overnight a few patches of light rain, drizzle or some iciness around us which is the reason for the winter weather advisories. But no big storm or major problems for sure. Tomorrow a secondary storm forming off the North Carolina coast will move to our east and bring some rain primarily east of I-95. Overnight with some drizzle and a few icy spots, so the NWS has extended the winter weather advisory to include much of the the D.C. area.
By late Saturday dry air comes which will bring in some milder air and a pleasant day Sunday. A 50/50 weekend and still no snow storms in sight.
