Bitter cold temperatures will continue tonight and snow is back into the forecast by tomorrow.
Tonight: Mostly Clear and Cold
Lows: Teens to Near 20 | Wind: NW 4-8 m.p.h.
Saturday: Morning Sun, PM Clouds, Light Snow Late
Highs: Low 30s | Precipitation: 30% PM
Sunday: Morning Snow, Then Partly Sunny
Highs: Around 40 | Precipitation: 30% AM
As cold high pressure continues to build into the area, gusty winds will deliver even colder air and lower wind chills tonight. We could see some sunshine tomorrow morning but then clouds will increase ahead of another fast moving, weather disturbance. Light snow could begin tomorrow evening and last into Sunday morning. Once, again accumulation potential is light with only an inch or so expected.
Temperatures may climb close to 40 degrees on Sunday afternoon. Another cold front will pass through the area Sunday night. Behind the front on Monday, it will be partly sunny, breezy and colder. And then late on Monday night, another fast moving, rather weak disturbance will pass overhead giving the region another chance of light snow. I think I am noticing a pattern here.
